NIJ Level IV (4) Ceramic Body Armour Plate - Stand Alone / SAPI Cut

Constructed from Ultra-Light Boron Carbide, this ceramic hard armour plate gives the highest level of NIJ level IV (4) ballistic protection available in a stand alone form, and is built to defeat all classes of 5.56 and 7.62 ammunition common to AR and AK assault weapons (inc armour piercing variants), as well high power rifles rounds. 

At 10"x12" (254 x 305 mm) , this SAPI cut hard armour plate delivers excellent edge to edge protection, while keeping an incredibly low weight profile at just 2.35kg per plate, making it exceptionally lighter than most Level 4 plates and well suited to demanding combat environments.
