NIJ Level 3++ - ST / Special Threat Ceramic Body Armour Plate

The III++ / 3++ special threat plate is built to exceed traditional NIJ level 3 specs, in order to provide additional protection against more powerful ballistic threats not encompassed by level 3 armour plates.

Already certified to protect against all the ammunition calibers tested in Level 3 plate (ie 44.mag, 9mm, 5.56mm and 7.62mm), it also delivers additional multi shot (6 shots) protection against steel core penetrator rounds like the 5.56 Green Tip / SS 109 / M855, which have the ability to defeat conventional L3 Body Armour.

This gives wearers the strongest possible protection againts the full spectrum of rounds coming from hand guns, AR and AK (Kalashnikov) based assualt weapons, while still maintianing a thin and lightweight profile that's comfortable and doesn't impair performance.

NOTE: The 3++ ceramic plate is an excellent plate for law enforcement, civil defence, civillian use, and military roles where high powered armour piercing rifle rounds are not present.
